"Beautiful home in a great location. Everything you need is here and it's a short location to plenty of walks for all abilities. We stayed early November and the house was plenty warm with the wood fireplace. We got married a few days before, Richard and Iola left us a Lovespoon, bottle of prosecco and a loverly card. The most thoughtful hosts I've had the pleasure of staying with, thank you both so much!"

"Fabulous location and cottage. Amazing views. Nice stroll up to Pen-y-Pass. Lovely plunge pool for the dog to swim in on the way. Close enough to campsite with shop, takeaway pizza and burrito bar. Loved it"

"Fantastic place- we thought it was too good to be true and it actually isn't! The farmhouse is super clean, cosy and WARM. It was so lovely to be in this lovely old farmhouse but with great heating from renewable sources onsite! Our children fell in love with Wales thanks to this super place and Richard is so kind giving free range on the farm. None of us wanted to come home and we WILL be going back. ASAP."

"Beautiful historic cottage. Good facilities and plenty of space for 8 (we combined a family reunion with hiking). Fantastic view and setting with Snowdon massif just behind. Excellent location for Snowdonia and environs (also the lovely Beddgelert). Friendly and very helpful host. What more could we ask for?"

"Amazing cottage in a very rural part of snowdonia. We went in early April and we're lucky enough see lots of sheep and lambs from the comfort of the lounge. Would strongly reccommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away."

"Richard's cottage ticked all the boxes of what I was looking to find for our stay in Snowdonia; Location - right next to Snowdon, Pen-Y-Pas is less than 10 minutes drive away. Isolation - I really wanted to find somewhere that was completely isolated and this cottage certainly was that, completely private and right in the middle of nowhere! A fireplace - Lovely wood burner that burnt a lot of wood during our rather chilly February stay. Somewhere with a bit character - Parts of the cottage date back to the 1600, and Richard took great pride telling us all about his cottage when we arrived - it's so old and interesting. Spacious - this cottage sleeps 8, so for just the two of us was great! A great location to wander and take photos - The cottage is in the middle of a farm with fields stretching out to the mountains, sheep, brooks, old farm machinery, and best of all Richard was more than happy for us to go and explore all of it! We spent many hours just rambling through his fields in the wind and snow! Overall we had a great time and we are definitely going to stay here again in the future!"

"It is a very spacious cottage and the separate entrance to the utility is great for muddy boots and dogs. The walks from the cottage are amazing and it is also accessible for places such as Llandudno and Conwy. We had mixed weather but this just made the scenery even more dramatic. Richard left us to it but was at the end of the telephone if needed. If you want a get away break with only sheep for neighbours then this is the place to come"

"This spacious farmhouse offers a wonderful opportunity to stay in a secluded, quiet, beautiful setting. The views from the lounge, patio and bedrooms were wonderful. Each of the bedrooms was nicely furnished and clean. Both showers in the bathroom and wetroom were good. The huge kitchen had everything we needed with a lovely big dining table. The second lounge is full of character, but we didn't get to use it much as the weather was so good that we spent most of our time on the patio outside, but it must be really cosy in winter. We particularly loved watching the beautiful sunsets over the mountains and the changing light throughout the day, not to mention the visiting sheep up to the gate. We would definitely want to stay again."
